It’s becoming a long hot wet summer; and I’m getting football withdrawal. Checking tonight’s Mercury I see we are moving in on DJ Campbell, another Birmingham (although he sounds like he should be from Ibiza) player. That will be three from them, and something like 12 signings altogether. One thing is certain: we wont be fielding the same mediocre players of last season.
